- Maximum user weight 115 kg (254 lb).
- Both wheel locks on for every transfer in or out.
- The hand brakes are for stopping and holding, not for slowing down on the move. Walk slowly on slopes.
- Leave the small anti-tip wheels down. They stop the chair tipping over backwards.
- Uphill, the person in the chair leans forward. On a steep slope the pusher goes down backwards.
- Avoid cobblestones where you can. Cross tram tracks at a right angle so a front wheel can't drop in.
- Not a car seat. Transfer to the vehicle seat and fold the chair for the boot.
- Won't fold: a footplate is still down, or the cushions are still on. Flip both footplates up and lift the cushions off.
- Pulls to one side or feels wobbly: a rear wheel isn't fully clicked in. Refit it and tug-test.
- A wheel lock won't hold: the pad should press firmly on the tyre. If it doesn't, message us and don't use it on slopes.
- Armrest won't stay down: push it down firmly until the button clicks.
- Anything bent, cracked or loose: stop using it and message us. We'll swap it.
- Fold the chair and fold the backrest down. Wheels can stay on.
- Put the cushions back on, or bring them with the chair.
- Leave it at reception, or wherever we agreed, with your name on it.
- Message us when it's ready so we know to collect.
