- Only the person pushing can brake. Park both hand brakes before you let go, and for every transfer in or out.
- Never leave someone in the chair on a slope, even with the brakes on.
- On a steep slope, go down backwards with a light squeeze on both hand brakes.
- When parked, point the front wheels forwards. The chair is more stable.
- The small rear wheels catch on cobbles and tram tracks. Go slowly and cross tracks at a right angle.
- Not a car seat. Transfer to the vehicle seat and fold the chair for the boot.
- Won't fold: a footplate is still down. Flip both up first.
- Rolls when parked: squeeze the lever fully before flicking the red catch, on both sides. If it still rolls, message us and don't use it on slopes.
- Red catch won't stay down: squeeze harder, then flick it. If it keeps popping up, message us.
- Anything bent, cracked or loose: stop using it and message us. We'll swap it.
- Fold the chair and fold the backrest down.
- Leave it at reception, or wherever we agreed, with your name on it.
- Message us when it's ready so we know to collect.
