“Great experience with Emerald Rentals. I took an 8 foot fall just before a scheduled trip to Ireland and I needed a wheelchair to get around. David was incredible in helping to make sure I had the chair when and where I needed it. Their drop off and pick up service worked great. David had the chair at one hotel when I got there and picked it up at another hotel as I was leaving town. The chair was new, high quality and worked great. Someone texted me right away and was able to deliver a wheel chair right to our hotel faster than I thought possible. They were nice and checked in with me the next day. “I traveled to Dublin with my 79-year-old Mom. She struggles walking far distances, so I rented a walker for her, but changed my mind the second day after assessing the surroundings better and requested a swap for a wheelchair. I reached out to Emerald Rentals, and David was very helpful and able to get a wheelchair delivered for us. The delivery to our hotel was very efficient. We rented a collapsible wheelchair which worked out perfect. David stayed in touch with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well or if we had any questions. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating everywhere we went during our stay. The train system was easy to navigate with the wheelchair. The Irish Rail employees were helpful with boarding and exiting the train. Passengers on the Luas were extremely friendly and helpful and would offer their seats to my Mom. Some of the businesses we visited during our stay were Guinness, Jameson, Fitzsimons Temple Bar, O’Shea’s Merchant, Celtic Nights Dinner & Show, and Bad Ass Cafe. All of the places were very accommodating to us with the wheelchair and friendly employees. Overall, our experience was great and I highly recommend David and Emerald Rentals if you have any wheelchair/walker needs while visiting Dublin.”

They assigned us a person that kept in touch with us and asked if everything was alright and he brought and picked up the wheelchair as well. He was super nice, flexible and ready to help. We had a very nice experience. Mostly because we needed flexibility with the days and pick up time and that's what we got. We are very happy and would definitely consider renting something here again if we need to.”

With just two weeks' notice after my elderly father suffered an Achilles tendon injury, they arranged delivery of an ultra-light mobility scooter directly to our Dublin city centre hotel - making what could have been a very difficult trip completely manageable.
